This new cage I bought really solved a big problem. At first, I lazily bought a fence for children as a doghouse for the puppies. As they grew up, they could escape and jump out from the top. Then I bought an iron fence to cover the top, but they could still crawl out at night through the gaps in the fence. When one got out, the other couldn't, so it started barking loudly.
Gradually, I couldn't bear it and removed the fence, giving them the entire balcony to live in. However, due to the inadequate previous cage, Wang Duoyu (the brown one) couldn't defecate in a designated area, which meant I had to clean the balcony every morning and after work, constantly picking up poop. Sometimes, right after cleaning, it would squat down and start urinating. I scolded, rewarded, and reasoned with it, but nothing worked, it still did as it pleased.
Finally, I bought this cage two years ago, and the problem of defecating and urinating everywhere was solved. Thinking about the detour I took for more than two months, if I had used this type of cage from the beginning, there would have been no issues at all.
New Year#
I feel that celebrating the New Year is not meaningful anymore. Maybe there is nothing that I need to accomplish specifically during these few days of the New Year, so I don't have any expectations for it.
However, I did find the coin 🪙 in the dumplings this year. This is a custom in the northern region. If you find the coin, you will have good fortune for the year. When I was eating dumplings, my grandmother asked if I got a raise. I said no, and she told me to find someone else, someone with a higher salary. It seems that everyone cares about how high you can fly, but no one cares if you're tired or happy while flying.
On the night of the thirtieth, after eating dumplings and returning home, I wanted to watch the Spring Festival Gala. The IPTV sources I added using the app on Apple TV were all invalid, and the ones I found online were either not working or lagging. In the end, I watched the live broadcast on YouTube, which was like going out to watch content from home.
I feel like I don't want to go anywhere, just like returning home early. Today, I left at five o'clock. If it were a few years ago before I got married, I would have had to wait until eight or nine o'clock for my dad to finish drinking before I could go back. I don't have that much time to wait anymore.
Joining a New Channel#
This week, I watched the content on the English_News YouTube channel called "English Used Like This" for several consecutive days. After enjoying it for a few days, I felt that the content was well-presented, and it has been continuously updated for at least a year or two. So, I became a member, which costs 15 Hong Kong dollars per month. It's not much, but it serves as a motivation for me to continue learning and also a way to support good content with some knowledge payment.
